A tinted SP4 moisturiser/foundation
Pauline told Express.co.uk: “A hybrid moisturiser/foundation is perfect for older skin as it provides natural flawless coverage, hydrates and protects from UV damage.”
Hybrid foundations are a relatively new phenomenon for women who are looking for skincare properties in their makeup. There are a number of options on the market, including Charlotte Tilbury’s Beautiful Skin Foundation, which contains hyaluronic acid, coconut extract and rose for £34.
For a cheaper option, there is The Body Shop’s Fresh Nude Foundation with vitamin E and Fair Trade organic aloe vera, £18. A skincare expert recently advised using aloe vera to make skin look younger.

A tinted lip balm
“A tinted lip balm provides colour as well as hydrating and repairing damaged, cracked lips,” Pauline said. “It also helps to soften wrinkles and lines.”
Shoppers after a tinted lip balm could try the Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm, £4.49 from the cult brand.  For a high-end option, there is the NARS Afterglow Lip Balm, which comes in various shades and costs £19.20.
Lip gloss
Pauline said: “A lip gloss is always a winner if you have smaller lips as it will create the illusion of a plump fleshy pout. I always say your look is never complete without a smile!”
For a cheap option try Makeup Revolution Pout Bomb Plumping Gloss, £3.75.

A makeup bag
Another beauty expert shared one of the biggest mistakes when it comes to makeup, which can make you look much older.
Celebrity permanent make-up artist Sarah Amelia Fogg said: “Brows are the most common area I see where people make mistakes that age them.
“Neglecting your brows completely can make you look older, especially if you have sparse brows.
“Similarly, going too heavy on the product can also age you.”
